Client Password Reset

Client Password Reset is a WHMCS module that lets your clients reset their account password securely from the client area. Instead of opening support tickets for forgotten passwords, clients use a self-service flow: they request a reset, receive a secure link by email, and set a new password. This reduces support load and improves client experience.

The module integrates with WHMCS’s authentication system. You can configure email templates, link expiry, and optional security options. It works with all standard WHMCS versions and client area templates.

How It Works

Clients use a “Forgot password?” link on the login page or client area. They enter their email address; the module sends a time-limited reset link. When the client clicks the link, they are taken to a secure page to set a new password. The link expires after the period you configure (e.g. 1 hour).
